At 20i, reducing our carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency are part of our everyday approach. So, we were especially interested to understand how the wider IT community sees the role of sustainability.
We surveyed over 500 IT professionals to explore the shift towards greener thinking and whether it is influencing purchasing decisions.
The results offer a revealing insight into how the IT industry views sustainability today, and where it could be heading in the years to come.
Among the standout findings:
- 61% say environmental impact is a top priority when choosing tools and services
- 91% believe IT businesses have a duty to protect the environment
- 89% are willing to pay more for environmentally friendly digital products
- 57% are concerned about the reliability of green services
