Do I have to be from Columbia to register a .co domain name?
?Nope. It’s open to everyone over the age of 18, and you can register the .co domain for between one and five years, and continue to renew it after that.
Should I register other versions of my .co domain name?
That’s up to you, but to be safe and protect your brand, we’d recommend buying other available versions of your company name with different popular top-level domains.
For example, if you had the yourcompany.co web address, a competitor or criminal could buy yourcompany.com. They could use it to compete, or even worse: fool your customers into being scammed.
How do I transfer my .co domain to you?
It’s easy to transfer a domain to 20i. You will need to get the domain name authorisation code from your current provider. Then, you need to search for it in our ‘Transfer a domain’ tool in our control panel, My20i.
You can then start the transfer, which can take up to five days (but your website will remain online). The transferral fee will give you one year’s registration of the domain.
